The Upper Unit at Indraprastha has a capacity for up to 500 people and is ideally suited for those planning a wedding, reception or other function on a careful budget.
Separate Halls
The Upper Unit is divided into a separate wedding hall, reception hall and dining hall. Preparations for serving meals can begin while the wedding and/or reception ceremony is still in progress, ensuring that the function proceeds smoothly and in a timely manner. Elderly guests and others who wish to eat early may do so without spoiling the enjoyment of those who wish to celebrate for a while longer. Air-conditioning is available in the Upper Unit (at an extra charge) if required.
Private Rooms
The Upper Unit comes with 3 private rooms, each with bathroom attached for use by the bride and bridegroom and their families. This gives the wedding party a quiet and private sanctuary where they can rest and change outfits while preparing for the next ceremony. Air-conditioning is available in all private rooms (at an extra charge) if required.
Two Lifts
With two lifts serving the Upper Unit, guests are ensured of smooth passage to and from the Upper Hall without unnecessary delay or need to climb up and down stairs.
Generator Backup
The Upper Unit has full generator back up so in the event main power supply fails, the function is not disrupted.
Parking
There is plenty of parking just outside the hall. Valet parking is available if required.
Air-conditioning
The Upper Unit has air-conditioning which can be provided at extra cost, if required.

This provides a smooth flow for a large number of guests while allowing Indraprastha staff to work quietly and efficiently in the background without interruption to the ceremonies. The separate dining hall provides the hosts with the option of serving meals in such a manner that elderly guests and others who wish to eat early may do so without spoiling the enjoyment of those who wish to celebrate for a while longer.
